Great place in very central location of Colmar

Points positifs : Great stay! The location is right in the city center, cheap parking is close by. Supermarket just across the street and everything else within the old city center in walking distance. The house itself is stunning! Very nice mix of modern comfort and original features like wooden floors, beams etc. We’d recommend it!

Points négatifs : - not much for us it was great but want to address some other negative points made from others. - I don’t understand some reviews where people complain about the floors creaking, beams too low etc. It’s an old building and that’s how they were built. It is to be expected when booking a place that old. - read people complaining about homeless shelter….i think they got confused with a bar/game room that was open on Saturday and some youngsters hanging out until a bit later. No issue for us, they had fun and there was no dangerous vibe at all the entire time we stayed. Also walking around at night felt very safe in the town.

Comfortable and convenient for city and country

Points positifs : The compact kitchen had all you need including coffee pods for the coffee maker. Bedrooms were comfortable. Note that they are over the 2 floors above the lounge / kitchen area. The top bedroom is accessed via quite a narrow steep staircase. The shower / toilet is very good and a second toilet is nice to see. There is a washing machine in the basement but drying is on a line and clothes maiden in the well-ventilated basement room. We had to move dry towels and cloths from these to make space for our washing. The bedroom floors are quite creaky when moving around. The location is very convenient for a short walk into the beautiful centre of Colmar. It worked well for our group of 3 motorcyclists visiting the city and the surrounding areas for a few days.

Points négatifs : Parking in the adjacent car park can be expensive if leaving your vehicle there for the day. However, there are several multi-storey car parks within 10 to 15 minute walk which cost only 3 euros per day. Do not be tempted to park in the open space by the property for any length of time - it is not free. This is basically a modernisation of a very old building, so the top bedroom got quite warm. However a fan is provided and there are 3 windows on 3 walls that can be opened to help with airflow. There is a centre for young people a little down the street so there may be some talking and laughter noise from the street tables in the later evenings on the days it is open.

Wohnen im Fachwerk

Points positifs : Ein niedliches altes Haus mit Ecken & Kanten mitten in Colmar direkt an der Altstadt. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin war nett & unkompliziert. Die Betten waren sehr gut und wer sehr hellhörig ist, sollte wissen, es ist ein sehr altes Haus und es knackst und knatscht in allen Ecken. Wir haben uns trotzdem sehr wohl gefühlt. Zum Ausladen kann man gut auf dem kostenpflichtigen Parkplatz vor dem Haus parken - um länger zu parken gibt es fussläufig gute Parkhäuser für 3€ am Tag

Points positifs : Authentiek en gezellig huisje op wandelafstand van het historisch centrum. Heel vlot contact met de eigenares.

Points négatifs : Spijtig van de aanwezigheid van het gamers-café in de straat, waar er toch wel veel lawaai was tot ongeveer 1:00.

Points positifs : A casa está muito bem localizada, e equipada com tudo o que é necessário...Aposentos quentinhos. Supermercado mesmo ao lado.
