Great 5 night stay at La Vie est belle!

Points positifs : The apartment was cozy and exactly as described. It was very close to the downtown of Sélestat and has everything you could need for your stay. We had 5 great nights over Christmas and used it as a base to explore the Alsace region. Carole was lovely and made sure we had everything we needed! We would highly recommend!

Stylish but compact apartment a short walk from the centre of Sélestat

Points positifs : There are a lot of positives about La Vie est Belle: All renovated to a high standard and immaculately clean. There is a compact but well equipped kitchen. The hosts are very helpful. The location is good too: Only a short walk from the very attractive centre of Sélestat and also an easy walk to the railway station, with excellent train services north to Strasbourg and south to Mulhouse.

Points négatifs : The apartment is small - there is a double bed but it is against the wall on one side. Although the main room was nice and warm, the rest of the apartment was cold. The free parking spaces and street itself are quite narrow.

Had everything I needed for a business trip

Points positifs : Other than the things below it was well equiped and very comfortable. I found the bed very comfortable. I would definitely stay there again if I go back.

Points négatifs : It didn't affect me but if it got any warmer I think it would have been hard to sleep there without any air conditioning. The windows face south onto a busy road in the morning (the sound insulation is very good though). I left the shutters down during the day to keep the place cool. The cooking facilities were fairly minimal. There was a very small microwave but I didn't see a way of heating a decent sized pizza for example. Again it didn't affect me this trip. Finally, it could do with a (?fold down) little bedside table.

Points positifs : Die Wohnung ist top, die Lage super (10 Minuten in die Altstadt oder zum Bahnhof) und die Vermieter sind super nett. Alles bestens.
